As I read Romans 8: 35-39. God really touched my heart. Just the thought His love for us brings tears to my eyes(yes, I cried…. its ok~). But seriously! NOTHING can separate us from His Love.  Wow. Its been a while since I posted anything, hopefully I will start to!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 37-39)

It is not about me

”And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” - Colossians 3:17

This is what God said to me today. Last night, I felt very weak. I felt very unworthy to be in presence of God. For some reasons I felt very average. I wanted more people to follow me on tumblr. Now I realize that it is not about me.

Sure, I hope people who read my Tumblr will start searching God. I really wanted to encourage others through my Post. However, I realized that it was ME that want more people to follow ME andNOTGod.

Now, I realize that it is not about me. It is all about God. Everything I do, everything I write should reflect God’s glory and not my own selfish ambitions. Yea, I do admire bloggers like Mark Muldez, iwantjesus etc who all have many followers. That shouldn’t be my Goal for posting, just to get attention.

So, even if no one reads what I wrote or no one follows me, I will continue to write. I know that everything I write, God will use it in someways to help others. I may not have a bajillion followers on tumblr, but I know I have one follower who will never leave me or forsake me,My heavenly father.

  • Me: I want to live for You.
  • Jesus: I died for you.
  • Me: I'll do anything for You.
  • Jesus: Remember Peter.
  • Me: I can't deny You?! I know who You are.
  • Jesus: That's what He said.
  • Me: But I know the whole story. He didn't.
  • Jesus: Then you must know that you've denied Me more than three times.
  • Me: What?! When have I?
  • Jesus: When you worry, you deny My provision. When you beat yourself up, you deny My cross. When you look down on others, you deny the width of My arms. When you lie, you deny Me, the Truth. When you ignore Me, you deny My Voice. When you live in bitterne--
  • Me: Oh God! How could I? How can You forgive me?!
  • Jesus: Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.
  • Me: But I know You. I know you...
  • Jesus: What you want to do, you cannot do. What you hate, you do.
  • Me: How can I follow You? How can I even do anything for You?
  • Jesus: Apart from Me, you can do nothing.
  • Me: I'm not good enough to be used by You.
  • Jesus: And when you label yourself unworthy, you deny My Power
  • My grace is sufficient. My power is made perfect in your weakness.

The most precious gift you can give

What is the most precious gift you can give to someone?

Money? Gold? Huge diamond ring? Ipad?etc…

Nope!

There is something even more precious than the things listed above, time.

When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you’ll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.

We as Christians are called to serve others. Notice it’s serving other NOT just giving them money. We can serve others in many ways other than just giving money, but of course giving money is one of the ways :)

How to serve others?

1. Pray for them: Every single person on Earth faces some kind of struggles. So everyone need some prayers! The more simple thing we can do for others is praying for them. I know it is hard sometimes when I face some sort of struggle on my own. It is really comforting to know that I am not alone, God is always with me and He sends many other to pray for me.

So if you know someone that really need someone to talk to or praying for, BE that person. You can change someone’s life.

He/she changed me life.

2.Spending time with them. Like I write above, the most precious thing you can give to anyone is your time.

I know for a fact that when I’m down or feeling sad, and my friends drop everything and hang out with me, I feel much better!

SO what are you waiting for?!!??! I just want to encourage you guys to give away the most precious gift you can give, your time!

Yea, you’ll probably watch less TV, or spending a few HOURS Less on Facebook, or missing a party. You may never the impact you will make in someone’s life!

In His Great Love

Heb11-1✟tumblr

I wish I could have this kind of wedding someday, marrying a girl who is willing to serve God with me for the rest of our lives~

What is Faith?

To start off my daily (hopefully) Tumblr post, I thought it would be appropriate to explain my Tumblr URL.

Heb11-1 refers to Hebrew Chapter 11 Verse 1. and it says:

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

                                                                       Hebrew 11:1 (NIV)

Ok, let’s break it down shall we?

What is faith? This question is very controversial. I will try to answer it from my interpret from the Bible. (I don’t claim to know everything, after all I/We are all still Work-In-Progress :).

Faith, is being sure of what we hope for and Certain of what we do not see. To put it plainly, Faith is completely trust in something or someone (God) even thought we can not see.

To be honest, i had my fair shares of doubts in God. Actually, I doubted God MANY times. When I asked God for something and I don’t get it, I loose my faith in God.

Faith Involves Trusting Our Maker

There are many great men mention in the Bible that had great faith in God.

When God told Noah to build an arc he did not question Him. Noah simply trust and had faith in God. Sure, Noah was mocked by many because at that time no one has ever seen rain before let a lone a great flood!

“By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and wet, even though he did not know where he was going.” Hebrew 11: 8

Faith Is an Action Word

Faith=Action. Faith and Action are inseparable. You can not have faith in God but not show it in your action!

”Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead”James 2:17

Faith and action is something I struggled  with.

It looks something like this:

“God! I love you and I trust you! BUT….”

Yes, the “but”. It has happened multiple times through out my life. There were times where I told God that I will not worry about my life, but there were also times I asked God what my life will be.

I know I’m not the only one that had doubts in God :)

Friends, I just really want to encourage you to have faith in God. Just have faith as small as a mustard seed you will see great things from God.

“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”               Matthew 17:20

Fresh Start?

Wow… it has been a long time since I last wrote in my tumblr. I guess I sort of let the “Worldly Things” took control of my life.

Yea… Don’t get me wrong, I still read the Bible and do my daily devotion everyday. Somehow, my time with God has dramatically decreased.

I don’t like that.

Something actually amazing happened today, I was just browsing on Tumblr, somehow I stumbled an old friend’s Tumblr. I was really encouraged to see his amazing walk with Christ.

I wanted that :)

So… From now, I will dedicate a few minutes (or more) everyday or try my best. Nah, I know I can give my time to God.

‘“Come near to God and he will come near to you.”

markmuldez:

The picture that you see is my boss and his fiance (soon to be his wife in 2 weeks). He was really kind enough to let me share this picture here and talk a little bit about their God inspired love story and also share what I’ve learned from him today in regards to relationship and dating.
So I asked him one question,

Me: How did you guys meet?
Boss: Because of my nose. I was playing basketball and someone hit my nose and swelled up. I went to the hospital to get it checked up and she happened to be my nurse.

to cut the long story short. He basically said,

what are the odds of finding a single Christian nurse at a big hospital and assisting someone like me who happens to be a Single Christian dude, it’s all God. Before I met her I told God, ‘Lord, I’m done looking. I’m focusing all my time towards you. And she said the exact same thing’ She was busy working, serving and doing ministries, while I’m busy doing the same thing. We were both content with God and the things that He’s doing in our lives.

After a year of ‘not looking’, God brought them together. Crazy I know. I was really inspired to see how God orchestrated their love story. It’s so encouraging to hear how both of them weren’t ‘looking for that person’ but they just simply devoted their lives to God’s calling and in the midst of their faithfulness and contentment in God and the things He’s doing in their lives, God brought them together.
I think if there’s any lesson that I learned from this, and that I wanna share to you all is this.
If you wanna find ‘The One’, you need to BE the ONE. Stop looking for the right person instead devote yourself to God and to becoming the right person.
We get so caught up in the idea of ‘searching for the right person’ where in reality we need to ask ourselves, ‘am I working on becoming the One for my future One?’
I praise God for His Spirit that’s constantly ministering to me even when I’m at work and using my boss to speak to me about this. And because of this, I’m more inspired and encouraged to really wait and focus completely on God.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matt6:33

seeking Him genuinely in a way that you’re not expecting anything in return but just finding joy & contentment in Him alone. And then just allow God to pour out blessings in your life.
